Controlling Your Process with Batch Recipes Part 2

 With the batch creation window open, you can define a unique Batch ID to for your process.

DeltaV™ also allows you to load formulas, which are preconfigured recipe parameter values that help reduce operator error by removing the parameter definition step from your batch start up.

To load a recipe click on the “Load Formula” box.

Select your formula from the list and click OK.

The last step in creating your batch is to bind the recipe to a specific unit.  To do this, click on the “Bound Unit or Alias” drop down.  Select your unit name and then click “Create” to create your recipe.
