The third way that Figurate™ software allows you to control your process is automatically via batch recipes.
Click on the Batch Operator Interface icon in the tool bar to launch the application.
With the batch operator interface open, you can create a new recipe by clicking the + icon on the right and selecting the recipe that you want to load from the menu. In this example we select ÄF_PROCESS_UP and click OK to begin creating the recipe.
With the batch creation window open, you can define a unique Batch ID for your process.
DeltaV™ also allows you to load formulas, which are preconfigured recipe parameter values that help reduce operator error by removing the parameter definition step from your batch startup. To load a recipe formula click on the “Load Formula” box. Select your formula from the list and click OK.
The last step in creating your batch is to bind the recipe to a specific unit. To do this, click on the “Bound Unit or Alias” drop down. Select your unit name and then click “Create” to create your recipe.
Now you will see your recipe in the Batch List with a State equal to “Ready”. Select your recipe from the list by clicking on it and click the run icon to run your recipe.
